Leaving on a Jet Plane...

So, today is the big day!!  As you can imagine, a trip like this takes a lot of preparation.  Thank you to all of our family and friends for pitchin' in to get us ready.  Here are a few pics from our last couple of weeks as the "Pre-Kenya Perrys".  In order for you to continue following our blog, I chose to leave out the photos of the kids receiving their final shots.  You're welcome.

Planting the garden with Daddy!  Hopefully we'll have plants when we get home.  God, please water our garden while we're away...

Kids counting their Pappy's spare change.  Can you say fun money?!  Praying that there is a good exchange rate, so they can bring back souvenirs.  Thank you, Pappy!

Beth cut all of our hair this week and colored mine (praise the Lord :).
These two were the biggest changes in the bunch.

Hannah donated her 10 inches of hair to 'locks of love' again.

Our annual foot photo at Easter.

Saying Goodbye to Slick.
Please pray the kids understand to stay AWAY from the snakes we may meet in Africa!!
Thank you to the Brock family for petting sitting our snake.

Easter morning.

In the butterfly garden at Southside...we'll miss you all!

Jonathan speaking before Jim prayed for our trip.  We're all wearing reminder bracelets and praying for those leaving for India this week as well.

Looking up at a photo of the Pages taken this past week at Agape.
Commission prayer Easter morning

Our luggage minus carry-ons...

The next time you hear from us, we'll be with the Pages!  Words can not express our JOY!

  1. Wow, you guys are organized! I don't think we had all of our bags packed until a few minutes before we left! Tell the kids that they aren't allowed to handle any snakes for about a month (especially green skinny snakes).
