Here are today's photos! It was a full and wonderful day...we started the day with school, then playtime outside, lunch, then we headed to Agape.
Rachel wanted to know what Caleb was up to in the shamba (garden).
She helped him plant the sweet corn.
Hannah is still holding her drum.
About to start activity period
We were teaching the boys a new song. Hallelujah! Praise ye the Lord!
They enjoyed the standing and sitting part!
Jonathan shared a story time with the boys.
Thank you, Lord for Jimmy who was there to translate. One of the boys came up after Jonathan read the book and had a question. He wanted to know why "god" was written with a lower case letter on one page. It was a page explaining how God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are not 3 "gods", but that they all make up the 1 true God. He explained that he thought a small "g" was referring to idols. After more help from an interpreter he understood. Loved that he was listening and reading the book so intently during the reading time.
The little girls love the kitty. I don't know the cat's name.
Samuel and Seth listening to the book
Craft time!!
We made really neat torn paper crafts.
This is Charlie KJ working on his masterpiece.
Mama Benta and Kate

The boys love Chris. He is a celebrity.
Future boda boda driver?? Wonder if he would be the first mzungu boda driver in Kisumu?
Construction zone: Here, a bed is being repaired.
Blake has taken on this huge project to help water run off on campus. He is fitting pipe in the drainage system that he is building and training others in the process.
In the next few photos, you'll see why this project is so necessary.
An afternoon shower began while we were still at Agape. It's the rainy season in Kenya now, but this is by far the hardest rain we've seen since we've been here.
Downpour
It rained hard for about 2 hours and the dining hall flooded.
Jimmy peaking out of the storage room.
Tammy came to pick us up to give us a ride home. Chris tried to take a photo of the people gathered under the shelter of the gas station. There were at least 50 people and pikis (motorcycles) huddled together.
Notice the piki in the rain with a passenger holding an umbrella. We saw some people riding with tarps wrapped around them!
Tomorrow we are headed for an overnight trip to Nakuru!! Please pray for a safe 5 hour road trip there and 5 hours home on Saturday. We hope to see lots of big animals. Here's a link to see where we are headed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Nakuru
