The internet has been down for two days, so I haven't been able to blog.  I'm using Chris's computer now, so I'm using his pics from the day.  Once my computer is up and running again, I'll be able to access my own pics from yesterday and today.

Here's a look at our day exploring Kisumu.

Customer Care is stamping our tickets at Kisumu Museum.

Kids outside of a mud hut at the museum

Lyla and Rachel running to look inside a mud hut.

The museum guide said that this was just a simple green snake.  We all believe it is a boom slang snake.  Google it.  You won't sleep tonight.

This is a gabon viper.  The head was 5 inches across.  We were so close to these and to black mambas. They were encased in very rustic display cases with glass fronts.  It gave me the heeby jeebies.  I have no idea what that means, but it describes it perfectly.

Lyla petting the 82 year old turtle.  After a debate over how this employee (the same one that named the boom slang a green snake) knew the age of the turtle, Chris's explanation makes the most sense.  You simply count the turtle's rings.

There are obviously no regulations on animal cages at national parks in Kenya.  This crocodile was at least 12 feet long.

Another view...

Duh...

Here's the crew minus Seth.  He was not feeling well today.  Please continue to pray for the health of both of our familys.

Where have all the flowers gone?  Oh yeah, these two picked them all.

They were not cooperating, but this one turned out pretty cute.

This is where the charcoal comes in on boats from Tanzania.

Nice clouds over Lake Victoria

The kids spotted a lizard on the rock below.
When in doubt, we just assume that all wildlife is poisonous.

It's so great to watch the younger kids.  They are so uninhibited.

Here's a boat we hope to take to go hippo watching.  We are so blessed to be here for such a long period of time, but it's still not long enough to do it all!

Dinner after a long day of site seeing...

Tammy was popping some yummy popcorn.

Hoping the internet is back up soon, so I can post more photos soon.
